When Disneyland started in 1955, it was an amusement located on a 160 acre plot in Orange Country, California near Anaheim and south-east of Los Angeles. Seeing the growing popularity of the amusement park, many new additions were done to the initial property and one of them was Disney’s California Adventure Park. This theme park is located adjacent to the main Disneyland Park and is situated on a 55 acre land area.

Disney’s California Adventure Park initially got a bad response because visitors thought it did not match the thrill and excitement that Disneyland Park offered. However, after a series of renovations and new additions, Disney’s California Adventure Park slowly started gaining popularity and today it is almost as popular as the main Disneyland Park.

For visitors who come to Disneyland and want to visit both the parks, there is a special pass called Park Hopper Pass. As the name suggests, a Park Hopper pass allows the visitors to hop from one park to the other. There is no restriction on the number of times someone hops from one park to another. Visitors may start their day on any of the two parks and spend any amount of time in either park. To avail this Park Hopper pass, all the visitors need to do is keep their tickets with them and get a hand stamp when they exit a part for the first time. Both the ticket and the hand stamp are required to gain a re-entry into either of the parks. Both Disneyland and Disney’s California Adventure Park have different hand stamps and one each from both of them and a valid ticket allow the visitors to hop.

There are various Park Hopper passes available for the visitors to Disneyland. A 1-day Park Hopper pass costs $84 for children and $94 for adults. A 2-day pass costs $123 for children and $143 for adults. Both these tickets can be purchased online but there is no discount offered. The 3-day Park Hopper pass costs $169 for children and $199 for adults. If purchased advance online, there are discounts offered. The prices get reduced to $149 for children and $179 for adults. A 4-day pass costs $194 and $224 for children and adults respectively. The same pass costs $164 for children and $194 for adults when purchased in advance online. The 5-day pass costs $214 and $244 for children and adults respectively. The 5-day pass costs $174 for children and $204 for adults when purchased in advance online. There is also a 6-day pass that costs $219 for children and $249 for adults. When purchased in advance online, the cost gets reduced to $179 for children and $209 for adults. All the passes that are valid for 3 days or more include an early entry admission.

The Disneyland Park Hopper passes are ideal for all tourists visiting Disneyland. Separate tickets to both the parks are more expensive and one doesn’t have the option of reentries. With the Park Hopper passes, visitors not only save on time but also get to experience their favorite rides in both the parks.
