    Disneyland entertains millions of guests every year. While most of the tourists prefer driving to the park, there are many other who prefer flying. Flying to Disneyland is quite simple. One can choose from the five airports located within a driving distance of 40 miles. All the airports are modern and make it very easy to drive to Disneyland.

    The closest airport is John Wayne Airport in Irvine, California. Located only 12 miles from Disneyland, this airport is the most convenient one if someone plans to fly to the Happiest Place in the World. There is a shuttle service to and from Disneyland. Someone may even hire a cab. Within the airport premises, there are many car rental companies that offer cars on rent. From the airport, one will need to take the 3 mile long 55 Freeway North and then move on to the 5 Freeway North and travel for 7 miles. From the exit at Harbor Boulevard, it is a simple matter to follow the boards to Disneyland.

    In terms of popularity and accessibility, Los Angeles International Airport may be better option. Since it is a busy airport, flights keep coming in throughout the day and night and visitors can come in and out as they please. Los Angeles International Airport is located 35 miles away from Disneyland. From this airport also, there are shuttle services to Disneyland. There are car rental companies at the airport if someone wants to rent a car. From the airport, one has to drive 16 miles on 105 Freeway East and then for 2 miles on 605 Freeway South. Then 91 Freeway East takes them a further 7 miles and 5 Freeway South takes them another 5 miles. The final exit is on Disneyland Way and then the signs have to be followed.

    johnwayneairAmong other airports is Long Beach Municipal Airport at Long Beach California. It is located 18 miles away from Disneyland. From the airport, one has to drive 6 miles on 405 Freeway South, then 7 miles on 22 Freeway East and then exit on Harbor Boulevard and go north for 3 miles. Disneyland can be found on the left when Katella is passed.

    The Ontario Airport in Ontario, California is located 32 miles from Disneyland. From the airport, one has to drive 11 miles on 60 Freeway West, then 14 miles on 57 Freeway South and then exit on Katella and drive west for 1.5 miles. When the right turn is taken on Harbor Boulevard, Disneyland comes on the left.

    Last but not the least is Burbank Airport at Burbank, California. This is located 40 miles from Disneyland. One has to drive 38 miles on 5 Freeway South and then exit on Disneyland Way and follow the signs to Disneyland.

    All these airports make it very convenient for travelers who travel long distances to reach Disneyland. Almost all of them have shuttle services to and from Disneyland and offer daily flights for the tourists. Once someone flies into one of the airports and then reaches Disneyland, there is unlimited fun and frolic lying in wait.
